LOL, how’s that for a blog title when you’ve been gone for months.. nothing like an eye catching title line to drag my old readers back in, right?
Anyways, Hi, HOw are you? I’m good. Busy. But good.
I’m not even going to try and go back and see what was happening when I last wrote – It’s been months, that I’m sure of. So I’ll just do a quick update, and then we will move on. We put our house on the market, went under contract in 12 days, closed in 35 days, moved into a new house 10 days later. So, in 45 days we sold our house and moved – OH, and we were on a 10 day vacation when our house went under contract.
There was a whole lot of, “holy crap, that was fast.” “IS this really happening?” “Are we actually selling our house.” “Where are we going to live?” “We have to find a house…. like NOW.”

It was chaos, and to be honest, it still hasn’t calmed down all that much and it’s been exactly 1 month since we closed on our Hernando Beach house.

I went on a beachbody retreat in Destin Florida – which is GORGEOUS! If you ever have the chance to go, do it – definitely. it’s just amazing there. the water is unlike any other water in Florida – except maybe the Keys. The water there is amazing as well.

I’m still a beachbody coach, and I’m still loving it – nothing has changed there. I’m in this for the long haul. I won’t bog my blog down with that though – You can see more about that on my facebook page.

I went for a run while I was in Destin that left me with knee pain for 3 days. I rolled my knee out as much as possible, stretched a ton, but I just could not get my IT band / hamstring to loosen up.
I attempted to run again a week or so later… again, knee pain right around the 2.5 mile mark. I ended up run/walking the last 1/2 mile home. More knee pain for 1.5 days.
Since then I’ve been keeping the few runs that I’ve been able to do less than 3 miles – between 2-2.5 miles…
I don’t know if it was my shoes, or if I just finally worked out whatever was going on with my IT bands / hamstrings but today I ran 3 miles pain free. I went to Fit Niche (a local running store) and got fitted for new shoes. I got the whole shebang .. it was great! Tried on several pairs of shoes, ran on the treadmill, but ultimately I decided to go with the new Pearl Izumi shoes – they are quite comfortable, and have bottom that helps with the heel toe roll forward. … that’s probably not proper terminology, but whatever.

So now that I’ve run a whopping 3 miles pain free, I’m ready to start training for half marathon, lol. Go big or go home, right?
I’m looking at a half marathon in February – I have one picked out, but I’m still open to ideas. Has to be in the state of Florida – with in 3-4 hours of Orlando.
Talk soon Friends, we are off to a pumpkin carving party soon, and I still need to go buy pumpkins!
